When you hear the ping, you will get a new reading
The Wanderwatch will say hot, warmer or cold, but you still have to find the magic beacon when you get close. It is not always easy!
Don't hear a ping? Make sure the magic beacon is turned on. See Step 5, turning the magic beacon on

Walk around slowly and in circles
When you get a ping, slowly walk in circles to pinpoint the location. Don't hear the ping anymore? You are moving away from the magic beacon! The signal can be blocked, for instance by your own body. So keep moving around in circles!

Keep in mind that the magic beacon should be able to send a signal
Hiding in high grass is better than hiding near the trunk of a tree, since the tree can block the signal
